Autumn in Munich is cool and quite wet, so if you're heading to Oktoberfest you'll want a jacket and something waterproof. Daytime temperatures average out at around 13°C, but it can drop to around 4°C at night. It rains for around 10 days a month in September, October and November, and by November night time temperatures struggle to remain above freezing.
With plenty of funfair rides and attractions for children, there's lots to keep little ones warm and active during the autumn in Munich, but you'll want to make sure that they are wrapped up warm just the same.
Winter in Munich
