Parga Holiday Weather Overview
Parga is a seaside village on Greece’s Ionian coast, in the north west of the country. It is a popular tourist destination, but has lost little of its original charm. Packed with tavernas on quaint cobbled streets, old churches and whitewashed houses, the town has a pretty harbour and a sandy beach.
Nearby, you can enjoy more beautiful beaches, the Vikos national park, or a ferry ride to Corfu. Albania is also within easy reach for those visitors who would like to venture a little further afield.

Parga in Spring
Spring is a beautiful time to visit Parga, as the spring flowers bloom and the surrounding mountains and countryside come to life. Spring comes early to this part of the world, and in March you will already find daily highs of 15°C. March evenings can be chilly however, so pack a shawl or something with long sleeves if you’re visiting Parga in early spring.

Pack an umbrella to guard against the odd spring shower, but by and large spring is the perfect time for exploring Parga’s natural beauty and for hiking in the Vikos national park.

Summer is the busiest season in Parga, and with good reason. Beautiful, sunny weather is what Greece is all about. Between June and August, you can expect average daily highs into the low to mid 30s Celsius - and occasional heat waves can push the temperature even higher. Balmy evenings are pleasantly warm, and there is virtually no rain.
If you’re visiting Parga in the summer, take sunglasses, sunscreen and beach wear, but be prepared for crowds.
Parga in Autumn
Early autumn sees plenty of sunshine and heat still in Parga, with average September highs of around 22°C. As the crowds disappear, this can be a wonderful time of year to visit.
